Our Night Light
It's as white as the clouds
It plants shadows on the wall
It shines oh so bright
Shine Moon Shine
Though the darkness dwells
It is early morning
It creates a silhouette of my shadow
The moon, motionless and beautiful
It's everyone's night light
No need for electricity
Just the glimmering moon
One can enjoy this moment
It doesn't give off heat
It is something more beautiful than the sun
The moon, also, has many shades
Many masks revealed
Sometimes, it is white as snow
Or sometimes a coral colour
How about a reddish pink
Somewhat like a coal as it dies down
This morning, it is hazy
High in the sky
It watches over all of us
Just think of all the stories it could reveal
Think about it
Look at it
Enjoy it
